A reader asks

Is it unethical to leave a mentally ill spouse with a debilitating Childhood PTSD which made him completely unable to parent (our kids are 1 and 2.7 and I also have an older kid from previous marriage)? He doesn't participate in house chores, can't work and has panic attacks every day, mostly when kids are around. He is also undergoing therapy and EMDR treatment but I've felt like a single parent for two years now. How much time I have to give him before I give up on this marriage and a person who makes me absolutely miserable?
